While I’d still be unable to speak on behalf of the company due to privacy reasons, I’d be more than happy to give you feedback here! We were very happy with the most recent, and pretty much all transcripts we’ve received from you guys.  You’re the only transcription service we consistently use and we’re very pleased with what we receive. We have never had any issues with speed or promptness of delivery – you all are fast. Transcription has generally been very accurate – understandably, for those private meetings it’s sometimes tough to get 100% accuracy on speaking voices and pronouns (i.e. random names being referenced), but we have always been satisfied. Customer service is definitely our favorite reason we choose to work with you guys – all of your staff has been nothing but pleasant and very attentive to our needs.

I wanted to express my appreciation for the staff and the excellent work on my behalf by Audio Transcription Center. The legal dispute for which I needed the transcription was incredibly stressful in many aspects, but working with this service was not one of them. I interacted either via email or phone with several different staff members over the course of this project, and they were unfailingly polite, reliable, responsive, and proactive in resolving issues. Throughout my career at WABC, PBS, CNBC, and NPR, I used other transcription services in New York City and Miami where I was based. They did a good job, but Michael and his team did an excellent job! I've worked with many transcription services, and this group is hands-down the best. They've worked magic on interviews that I thought were "untranscribable" due to poor recording conditions (noisy cafes, wind, loud background music, etc.) Other transcription services have charged extra -- often double the usual rate -- for this kind of work. Audio Transcription Center has very reasonable rates, no hidden fees, and the staff stayed in touch with me at every stage of the project. I was thrilled with final results. Michael and his team are wonderful, and I can't recommend them highly enough.

All of my archival projects have been transcribed by ATC. The process has been terrific. Michael and his team have been amazing to work with. We contracted with them to transcribe audio recordings for a historical archive being created. As a first-time user of transcription services, I have been impressed with the professionalism, efficiency, and accuracy of the recordings; many of which were heavily accented voices. They will be our go-to transcribers for any future projects.

It would be impossible to imagine a better transcription service. I'm surprised these folks aren't up on Yelp yet, because they've been around a long time. My guess is that word of mouth has been more than enough for their success. And I can see why. They are an unusually friendly, polished, and very skilled transcription service. You send them a tape in any language and no matter how rough, and they will produce a beautiful transcription, and as quickly as you need. The director, Michael Sesling, is a consummate professional-- friendly, thoughtful, and always ready to advise and help, as needed. And the transcribers aren't just excellent typists/transcribers, they are well educated and skilled at problem-solving. This is the real deal.

ATC was selected for this project given their proven track record within the archival community transcribing oral histories. The projects they worked on in the past with highly respected archival repositories in the U.S. gave us the peace of mind that they would be able to produce the high-quality transcripts that we needed for our project. And they didn't disappoint! For me, it's the ease of working with ATC and getting the needed transcripts in such a timely manner. When I started on this project I wasn't sure how we'd accomplish the transcription piece, and feared this project would take many years to complete hence delaying access to these rich historical resources. What may have taken us 3-5 years to complete, will instead be completed within 1 year which is incredible.
