Before a project for transcription is received, the most important part of onboarding a new client is our Client Onboarding Form, which offers all the key factors that will contribute to the transcription of your project being completed according to your requirements. This document is mission-critical to the success of your project from start to finish and gives the team all of the minutiae that is required in the transcription of your recordings.
A member of the Production Team meticulously reviews the details of your onboarding form and incorporates all of your transcription requirements into your account in our systems for our transcriptionists to have available at their fingertips. This helps ensure each project is completed according to the specifics that you’ve laid out on the form.
The assignment of your transcription project is distinct to the Audio Transcription Center and incorporates the knowledge that we should have about the content of your recordings to be custom-matched to the humans who will be completing the transcription of your recordings. It’s important to ensure that the person understands the content, accents, dialects, subject matter, and numerous other aspects of the recordings you’ve sent us for transcription. We prioritize accuracy over speed (although this is also a key factor on being onboarded with ATC). Our transcriptionists grasp the nuances of your recordings, listening attentively rather than merely regurgitating what they hear.
After transcription of your recordings has been completed, your project returns to our Production Coordinators who make up our trained team of professionals (each with 5 and over 10 years of experience working at ATC), and who diligently review each transcript as an integral part of our quality control process. They do not complete a word-for-word authentication of each transcript, that is an add-on service, but they will make sure that the guidelines you submitted on the Client Onboarding Form are followed. They’ll also make sure we’ve met our 99% accuracy guarantee.
Once they’ve finished all their review work they’ll send off an email with your transcripts attached, or send them back via the method you’ve requested on your client onboarding form for sending completed transcripts back to you.
