Indexing

Indexing is a way to make a transcript more easily accessible and searchable for researchers and others looking for specific information within the transcript. An index is, at its most basic, an alphabetical list of keywords, pronouns, and information that people may use to hone in on the specific pages within the transcript where that information is located.
