Exceptionally Trained Transcriptionists

At the Audio Transcription Center, we can proudly say that we’ve been in business for 58 years because we choose to recruit only the best. We onboard approximately 1 in 20 applicants. Our transcriptionists go through a rigorous testing process to demonstrate their skills and abilities before being onboarded.

Our transcriptionists are required to meet the following qualifications:

• Type no less than 80 wpm
• Submit a cover letter in PDF format
• Submit a resume in PDF format
• Submit a transcript with no less than 99% accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to reserach unfamiliar terms and concepts
• Well versed in the rules of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
• Ability to not only meet but also exceed deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to follow in-house guidelines and project specific guidelines
• Resident of the U.S.
• Bilingual and multilingual candidates are always a plus
