Since our founding in 1966 we’ve been recruiting humans who bring knowledge and insight not just from academic studies, but from their world of experiences as a whole.

We only onboard roughly 1 in every 20 transcriptionists, because transcription is more than what we think we hear. It’s not just about transcribing fast it’s about transcribing accurately, and we require that our transcriptionists have that understanding.

Knowledge is gained in so many various ways in life, and our goal is to learn as much as possible about each transcriptionist and the knowledge that lives within their brilliant minds.

It starts with their application, which includes a cover letter and resume.

• The cover letter and resume are so important as we read through all the details of their lives, but also evaluate their use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• We evaluate the cover letter for readability, but we also are reading about all the details that the person is willing to share about themselves, their knowledge, and their life in general.

During our new transcriptionist onboarding process, just like with a New Client Onboarding Form, we require all transcriptionists to complete a packet with a plethora of information about themselves. This information allows us the insights to custom-match their human-transcriptionist-selves to each client recording.
